Welcome to Siem Reap! Upon your arrival, your guide will greet you at the airport and help you transfer to your hotel for check-in. Please be aware that the standard check-in time is 2:00 PM. Depending on when you arrive, you might choose to add an extra tour at this time.
At 7:00 AM, we will collect you and transport you to the golf course for your tee time at Angkor Golf, a renowned course crafted by the European legend, Sir Nick Faldo. You will play eighteen holes in the shadow of Angkor’s ancient temples.
The fairways are generally forgiving, but the bunkers are strikingly bold, and the greens feature subtle undulations that reward and encourage a variety of approach shots. After your game, you might want to unwind with a complimentary one-hour foot or body massage to relax your mind and muscles.
Today, depart at 7:00 AM to practice on the new course at Siem Reap. The driver will take you to Phokeethra Country Club, which boasts an excellent course. The fairways and greens are covered with Paspalum grasses, giving the course its rich green color and maintaining high-quality conditions throughout the year. The 7,145-yard, 18-hole course exemplifies Phokeethra Country Club’s commitment to providing an exclusive golfing experience. The course features sweeping fairways and generous greens, creating a unique layout and atmosphere. Natural lagoons and sand traps weave through the greens, offering challenges for golfers of all skill levels.
At 8:00 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel for the day’s tour. Your first stop is the South Gate, featuring massive statues illustrating the churning of the ocean of milk. Next, you’ll visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom, established in the late 12th century. From there, you’ll proceed to the Bayon temple, renowned for its 54 towers adorned with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara. Baphuon, resembling an artificial mountain, has recently reopened after extensive restoration.
Following this, you can explore the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King. The tour continues to the famous Ta Prohm temple, constructed between the late 12th and early 13th centuries, and well-known as a filming location for the Tomb Raider movie.
After lunch on your own, the tour resumes at the magnificent Angkor Wat Temple, the most revered temple in Angkor park and the largest religious monument in the world. The temple’s walls are adorned with stunning stone carvings and bas-reliefs. Your guide will narrate the stories behind these intricate details and allow you ample time to explore both the inner and outer grounds of the temple.
Take a stroll or pick up some final souvenirs before your midday checkout. Your driver will be there to help with your luggage and transport you to the airport for your departure flight.
